Job Description PR Account Manager Location - Cheltenham Salary - 35,000 PR Account Manager required for a fast paced, results driven PR agency based in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, retaining and expanding a client portfolio, ensuring that clients remain profitable. To actively develop new business opportunities, both developing and pitching proposals to live prospects and networking for new prospects. It is essential that you have previous experience of PR Consultancy and media relations and that you have experience of working with healthcare clients. It is highly desired that you have the following: PR consultancy background or journalism, background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and the environment; knowledge of the primary healthcare market would be a distinct advantage, in particular knowledge of PCTs, PCB and the finance of health. good media contacts with GP and practice media, plus national and consumer magazine health writers also desirable.
